I am sad to announce that after 18 years, I have decided to retire from breeding AKC purebred shih tzu puppies. This has been a passion of mine for most of my life.
My first litter arrived in December of 2001. From the beginning, my dogs were known around town as the “T” dogs. As I walked them, people would stop and ask “are those the “T” dogs”? We started out with Toby, Tucker, Tiffany, Taylor, Twinkie. We then added Taboo, Tango, Tooter, Tappy, Turbo and Tia. As I started keeping my own puppies, we changed letters and Shelby, Snickers, Bubbles, Birdie, Casper, Emma and KiKi were added to our family. Mr. Boomer and Mr. Cooper came into the mix to stir things up. What a herd we have/had, but a family we love(d), and the endless stories we could tell.
Throughout those 18 years, we had 52 litters and over 240 puppies. I’ve experienced everything a puppy momma could: from having babies in our bed, no sleep for days, special needs puppies, twisted intestines to fifteen puppies at once, AND then losing my QUEEN BEE “Miss Bubbles” last August.
Losing my QUEEN BEE “Miss Bubbles” was one of the hardest tragedies I ever went through, and definitely had an impact on my decision. So after much soul searching, I feel the time has come for me to retire and say goodbye.
THANK YOU to everyone that purchased one of my babies, and the families that couldn’t get enough and came back for more and more. You all are the reason WHY I continued. I CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH. I met a lot of wonderful people who gave my fur babies FOREVER homes, and I made some lifelong friends with puppy-bonds that will last a life time.
GOD has provided and helped me accomplish everything I did in those 18 years. I OWE everything to my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. Without HIM, I’d have nothing, and could not have one what I did.
So, till we ALL meet again, take care and may GOD BLESS each and every one of you.Cindy
